In this fifth edition of the Charity Golf Trophy, held over the last few years at the three courses in Navarra, more than 48,000 euros have been raised, destined to the search for more effective treatments to increase the chances of a cure and to the treatment of children suffering from this disease. Marta Lipuzcoa, manager of the solidarity program Niños contra el Cáncer, recalls that "in spite of the progress made, cancer continues to be the leading cause of infant death by disease in developed countries".

"We are very grateful because this has been the most crowded edition. We have exceeded our own expectations. We want to thank the support of Navarre golf, both the support of the three clubs and all the players, as well as the immense financial aid that sponsors and collaborators give us. Thanks to them, we can continue to advance in treatments that increase the possibilities of cure, that are more effective and less toxic. The goal is to improve current therapies to reduce the consequences that may limit the quality of life of these children in the future (hearing loss, heart disease, amputations...)," explains the manager de Niños contra el Cáncer.
