The university careers taught at the University of Navarra's School of Sciences are at the top of their areas of knowledge at national level in the ranking just published by the BBVA Foundation and the high school Valencian Economic Research.

The Double Degree at Chemistry and Biochemistry is the first in Spain in the Biological Sciences category, according to the U-Ranking. This program, which was implemented five years ago, is pioneering and unique in Spain. The Degrees in Biology and Biochemistry ( biomedicine pathway) have obtained the second place in this ranking.

On the other hand, the Double Degree in Biology and Environmental Sciences -implanted in Navarra in 2014- is ranked as the best Spanish program in Geology and Environment area and 2nd in Biological Sciences area .

In addition, the Double Degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry and Degree in Chemistry taught at the University of Navarra are ranked 1st and 2nd respectively in the category of Chemistry.

The U-Ranking evaluates the teaching (56%), research (34%) and innovation and technological development (10%) of Spanish universities by evaluating the resources, production, quality and internationalization of each of these areas. Taking into account these figures, the Double Degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry has obtained a 1.5, the highest grade in its category; while the rest of Degrees of the area Biological Sciences, Chemistry, and Geology and Environment (Biology, Biochemistry , Chemistry and the double Degree in Biochemistry and Environmental Sciences) have scored 1.4, a rate only reached by the Pompeu Fabra and Ramón Llull universities in their best programs.

For its development, U-Ranking has counted on the partnership of experts in assessment of the university activity and its quality belonging to 12 Spanish universities. The same edition of this ranking has placed the University of Navarra as the leader in productivity professor in Spain and seventh in research productivity.
