The School of Pharmacy and Nutrition of the University of Navarra has celebrated the tenth submission of Nutrivideo awards: a competition aimed at teenagers and oriented to promote healthy lifestyle habits, which began in 2008 and in which more than 5,000 students from all over Spain have participated since then.
With a production of more than 1,000 videos that have surpassed half a million views on its Youtube Channel, Nutrivideo celebrated on Saturday the submission awards ceremony of this latest edition, which has brought together more than 500 students from 30 schools, grouped into 120 teams that have recorded 91 videos in total. Their works have had, in addition, almost 30,000 views.
As in the last editions, the competition awarded the award to the most viewed clip -which this year went to work "A healthy life", from high school Nuestra Señora del Pilar (Cádiz)- and the award to the best video, for the clip "Drawing our health", from high school Las Tablas-Valverde, Madrid. The teams received, respectively, an e-book for each member of group and for the center's tutor , and a tablet for each student and his or her tutor.
The videos were evaluated by a jury composed of members from different areas of the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition, the department of Communication of the University, the high school Official Dietitians-Nutritionists of Navarra and various sponsoring and collaborating companies.
Finally, throughout its 10 editions, this initiative has been supported by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, the Antena 3 Foundation, the Government of Navarra and the Official Dieticians-Nutritionists of Navarra high school .
