On August 30, the University of Navarra celebrates the workshop Welcome to new students and their families.
3,500 people have registered for this event, which will be held for the first time at campus in Pamplona.

The University of Navarra will celebrate next Tuesday, August 30, the workshop Welcome to new students and their families. 3,500 people have already registered for this event that will take place, for the first time, at the University's sports center .
In the 2022-23 academic year, the University will welcome around 2,500 new students. Although the incorporation process is still open, so far 2,470 students have enrolled: 745 international and 1,725 national students (694 of them from Navarra).
The workshop will begin at 10.00 a.m. with a speech by the University President, María Iraburu. This will be followed by a roundtable where professors and students will explain what the university experience consists of, and Full Professor Ricardo Piñero will present a discussion paper.
At 11:30 a.m. there will be a session for parents entitled "Dreaming together the University of Navarra: Strategy 2025", at position by the Vice President of Students, Rosalía Baena, and the former President and president of the association of Friends of the University, Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero.
New university students will also be able to participate in orientation activities about the different services offered by campus such as Tantaka, the University's solidarity bank; Career Services, Languages, Sports or Innovation Factory. Information will also be provided about the resources offered by the University such as IT Services, Library Services or the museums (Art and Science).
At noon, at sports center, a giant paella has been organized, followed by a fair to showcase student initiatives. In the afternoon, the workshop will end with a concert at the Museo Universidad de Navarra by the Orquesta Sinfónica de la Universidad de Navarra and the Orquesta Juvenil Nacional del SODRE of Uruguay.
