Carmen Sanmartín, new Vice-Dean of academic staff and research of the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition

The President has appointed Carmen Sanmartín as the new vice dean of the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition. position She replaces María Javier Ramírez, who was recently appointed dean of the School .
Professor Sanmartín holds a degree and PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Navarra, and a degree in Chemistry from the UNED. From 2011 to 2018 she has been director of the department of Chemistry Organic and Pharmaceutical, and from 2018 to the present she is director of the department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Chemistry .
She is accredited as a professor by the National Agency for Assessment of Quality and Accreditation in 2015 and teaches teaching in the Schools of Pharmacy and Nutrition, and Science. She has more than 110 published articles, book chapters and patents.
Currently his research is focused on the search for new molecules as potential agents for the treatment of cancer and Leishmaniasis.
