The next June 29th will take place the graduation ceremony of the Master's Degree in design and management Environmental Buildings (MDGAE) of the University of Navarra, in which fifteen students from nine different countries will receive their diplomas at the end of Master's Degree.

The event will take place at the classroom Magna of the School of Architecture and will be chaired by director of the academic center, Miguel Ángel Alonso del Valaccompanied by the director of the MDGAE, Ana Sánchez-Ostiz, and the deputy director Purificacion Gonzalez. The students' representative will also speak at the event, Juan Carlos Gamero.

Master's Thesis

Previously, the students of Master's Degree in design and management Environmental Buildings (MDGAE) will defend their Final Projects Master's Degree (TFM) on Wednesday, June 28. The projects address some of the challenges of today's architecture, such as zero-emission buildings, the fight against climate change, the integration of renewable energies, energy rehabilitation and the use of natural resources.

The development of bioclimatic architecture strategies, energy efficiency and sustainability in buildings, the realization of energy simulations using Design Builder and blower door, the rehabilitation of industrial facades and the partnership in NZeb buildings are some of the topics of the work of this course.

The TFM is an opportunity for students to apply all the knowledge and skills acquired during the program in a real environment. The TFM, which is mandatory, is the second module of the MDGAE and takes place between April and June and is carried out in companies such as LKS Ingeniería, Barcos y Enríquez Arquitectos, Luz y Espacio, Ecay Construcciones, CENER, MRM Arquitectos, Construcciones Díaz García and BOA Arquitectos. Some students, interested in research participate in European and national projects that the department CIEN has.

The training internship of MDGAE students culminates with the completion of the TFM in companies in the sector, which in many cases is a gateway to the labor market entrance , as many continue to collaborate with these companies.
