Tecnun welcomes the 272 new students

Among the new features of this year is the launch of the Degree in Artificial Intelligence Engineering, as well as the possibility for students to study the first year of any of the Degrees Engineering courses entirely in English.
Tecnun, the School of Engineering of the University of Navarra, has started today the academic year with a Welcome workshop and a Zero Course aimed at the 272 new first-year students. This Zero Course, organized from today until Friday 30, has as goal "help them to reinforce the basics of some subjects to start with greater confidence," as pointed out the director of Tecnun, Raul Anton, in the welcome session that took place in the morning. The Engineering students of Degree will start the academic year next Monday, September 2nd, and those of Master's Degree on the 23rd.
During the welcome session, the director of Tecnun has explained to the new students the academic programs, the university life and the employment opportunities of the academic center. "The world needs empathetic people, manager, who know how to listen and work in a team. Make the most of all that Tecnun has to offer", Antón encouraged them.
It should be noted that 48% of the new students are from Guipuzcoa, 32% from the rest of Spain and 20% from international countries such as Andorra, Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, France, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Peru, the Philippines, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States and the United Arab Emirates. In addition, 42% of the first-year students are women.

Exchange students
On the other hand, on Friday 30 at 9.30 am, there will be a Welcoming Day ( workshop ) for the 45 students of exchange international students.
