The School of Sciences of the University of Navarra celebrated its last act of licentiate degree, in which 66 students participated: 52 belonging to the XLVI promotion of Biology, three to the XVII promotion of Biochemistry and eleven to the double in Biology and Biochemistry . The class delegates were Alba Martín, from the double licentiate degree, and Sandra Erdozáin, from Biology.

Professor Arturo Ariño, who served as patron of the graduating class, drew a parallel between biological and administrative extinctions, at purpose of the disappearance of the degree system now replaced by Degrees, and sought the coincidence in"the 'color' of life measured through the 'colors' of the subjects that made up the careers that were being extinguished". After his speech, Ariño handed out the last exam in the history of bachelor's degrees (subject test), which the students answered successfully.

For his part, the Dean of the School, Ignacio López-Goñi, closed the ceremony by thanking students and their families for their support of the University of Navarra, and encouraging the new graduates not to be afraid of new challenges. "Keep learning with a sporting spirit, starting and restarting, without fear of the future," he stressed, adding, "Always keep your minds open to diversity and opportunities and keep thinking globally and helping locally."

The graduation ceremony was attended by Dean and patron of the graduating class: the Associate Dean of the School, Juan José Martínez Irujo; the General Manager, Miriam Latorre; and the fifth year coordinator, Carmen Antolín.
