The winners of the National Biology Olympiad are preparing at the CIMA

The eight students attend a week of lectures and practicals in Microbiology, Zoology, Biochemistry , Evolution and Plant Histology.

The eight winning students of the national phase of the Biology Olympiad, in which students from all over Spain participate and which was held last April in Vigo, are attending a special week of high school diploma goal from all over Spain, which took place last April in Vigo, are attending a special week of training at the research center Applied Medicine of the University of Navarra (CIMA), with the aim of preparing them for their participation in the international and Ibero-American phases of the test.

The students, coming from Navarra - Jorge Tarancon from Pamplona was the winner of the national phase -, Madrid, Albacete, Castellon, Lerida and Santiago de Compostela, attend until July 1 to a week of training with theoretical and practical classes on Microbiology, Zoology, Biochemistry , Evolution and Diversity and Plant Histology. In addition, they will have at their disposal sessions to prepare for possible questions in areas such as Genetics and Biochemistry . And over the course of the week they will be able to visit both CIMA and the Science Museum of the academic center, all accompanied by 12 professors and researchers from CIMA and School of Sciences who will act as their tutors throughout the training.
