The group de Invesitigación Siglo de Oro (GRISO) of the University of Navarra has just published three new volumes of the collection 'Autos sacramentales de Calderón': the issue 69, El pintor de su deshonra, in a critical edition by Alan K. G. Paterson; the issue 72, El pleito matrimonial, in a critical edition by Mònica Roig; and the issue 73, Mística y real Babilonia, in a critical edition by Françoise Gilbert and Klaus Uppendahl.

This collection of the GRISO, which brings together the texts of Calderón's autos sacramentales as well as other volumes of programs of study monographs on them, is published by the prestigious German imprint publishing house Edition Reichenberger, based in Kassel (Germany), and will eventually number more than a hundred volumes.

Two new facsimiles of Calderón's autographs

It should be noted that the editions of El pintor de su deshonra and Mística y real Babilonia include the respective facsimiles of Calderón's autographs, as is internship customary in the collection when they are preserved. Thus, the texts published correspond to the last will of the playwright. Several more volumes of the collection are currently in preparation: the editions of Psiquis y Cupido, El santo rey don Fernando, segunda parte ..., plus a monograph, Ingenio, teología y drama en los autos de Calderón, coordinated by M.ª C. Pinillos, which gathers the papers of the last congress that the GRISO dedicated to this topic in December 2010. All this research is part of the project "Patrimonio teatral clásico español (TC/12)", sponsored by the CONSOLIDER Program of the Ministry of Science and Innovation of the Government of Spain. It is also part of another project financed by the Subdirección General de Proyectos de research of the Ministry of Science and Innovation and co-financed by the ERDF.
