193 students are starting their " programs of study " at the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition

The School of Pharmacy and Nutritionworkshop held a welcome event on Monday, August 31, for new students for the 2026–27 academic year. This “ meeting ” event was designed to help them transition into university life and provide them with the tools they need to navigate this new phase.

workshop began with the “ submission ” ceremony, in which students put on their lab coats and received their student ID cards; this was followed by the welcome ceremony, which featured remarks by the dean and the Student Affairs Associate Dean .

Throughout the morning, the new students learned about some of the practical matters that will shape their day-to-day experience at the college—from class schedules and internships to how to use the university’s online systems, exams, and various tips for navigating their first year. They also had the opportunity to meet their academic advisors, who will support them throughout their college experience.

In total, the School of Pharmacy ( workshop ) had 193 students: 127 in Pharmacy, 19 in the dual-degree program in Pharmacy and Pharmacy Science ( Degree ), and 47 in Human Nutrition and Dietetics.

At the same time, families had the opportunity to tour the school’s facilities and participate in a session about the first year of college, which covered topics such as adjusting to college life, support from the Office of Student Affairs ( advisor), academic performance, and extracurricular opportunities ( training ).

" workshop " concluded with a coffee gathering for students, families, and advisors, followed by "Start!"—the first of many great days, the welcome event organized by the Admissions Office for first-year students and their families.

Currently, the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition has more than 800 students enrolled in all of its degree programs and courses.
