The theatre of the University of Navarra Museum hosted the Sports Gala last Friday 29th, in which various distinctions were awarded to the University's most outstanding sportsmen and sportswomen. At the event, the Sports Service also awarded some thirty students who this year finish their programs of studyand who, during this time, have combined the degree programwith the internshipsports high performing.

In addition, the lecturer of the School Pharmacy and Nutrition Marisol García received the award"University and Sport", a awardawarded to a lecturer or employeeof the University for her partnershipin sporting activities. On this occasion, it recognised the time dedicated over the last few years to the Talento Deportivo programme as managerfor the nutritional monitoring and the trainingin nutrition of the sportsmen and women enrolled. 

"It has been something totally unexpected that, sincerely, has made me very excited, because it is the recognition of a partnershipthat, although we do it with great pleasure, involves a lot of dedication and effort staff", confesses the teacher of departmentof Food Science and Physiology. Among others, this work is carried out through the subjectof the Diploma in Sports Nutrition "Nutritional Monitoring of Sports Talent", in which the students of Diploma participate under the supervision of the teacher.
