The short film "Pol" wins the IX edition of the University of Navarra's Kino Awards
Nine short films by the 4th Audiovisual Communication students competed for the KINO statuettes.
The short film "Pol" produced by Janire Morales was proclaimed winner at the gala of the IX edition of the Kino Awards of the University of Navarra. In addition to winning in the category of best short film, it won two other trophies that, as every year, the School of Communication of the University of Navarra submission to the best works of fiction of the students of 4th year of Audiovisual Communication. "Pol" also won the award for best screenplay(Josep Gatell and Jaime Pineda) and best editing(Javier Erquiaga).
"Lázaro" obtained the special award of the "Public" along with the best direction(Isabel Villanueva). Completing the list of winners among the nine short films presented were the films "¿Estoy guapa?", for best leading actress, Silvia Casanova, and best leading actor, Javier Ibáñez; "El día que cambié a mi padre por dos peces de colores" won the awards for best supporting actress, Sol Magunagoikoetxea, best sound, Ander Gómez, and best music, Ion de Luis.
Finally, "Tributo" won the award statuettes for best cinematography, Paz Aragües, and best art direction, Sara Nahum, while "Espérate a lo anuncios" was awarded best supporting actor, Alberto García.
