The Master's Degree University in management of Pharma-Biotech Companies that the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition offers at Campus of the University of Navarra in Madrid welcomed on September 6 a new class, which this year will have 36 new students.

On this occasion, the students came from 14 Spanish universities and 3 international centers such as Boston University, University of Exeter and Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. They have been trained in 9 different degrees: Biology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry , Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Pharmacy and Nutrition, Biomedical Engineering, Neurosciences and Chemical Sciences.

"This Master's Degree caught my attention because of its specific and comprehensive content, which covers all the areas of interest to me in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, the sector in which I want to work in the future: finance, marketing, the strict regulations to which pharmaceutical and technological products are subject, and communication, negotiation, innovation and leadership skills," explains Teresa Puigferrat, a graduate in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Barcelona.

The program has a faculty of 14 professors from the University and IESE Business School. In addition to these, more than 40 industry professionals from leading companies such as CINFA, GSK, Bristol Meyers, Roche, Takeda, etc. participate in the program. 

"What really differentiated me from other master's degrees at management is the clear commitment to a quality training prior to the internship at business, encouraging work in teams through the case method," confesses Álvaro Rodríguez, graduate in Pharmacy at the University of Alcalá de Henares. "It was the only program that gave me the guarantee of offering a complete training and not just a tool to get an internship."
