Researchers from the University of Navarra will be able to spend time in Ibero-America through a new Santander scholarship program

3,000 young Spaniards will benefit from this initiative that promotes grants of 5,000 euros to broaden their academic and scientific experience.

Researchers at the University of Navarra will be able to participate in a new scholarship program promoted by Banco Santander. In total, fifty professors and researchers from Spanish universities and centers will benefit this year from an scholarship of 5,000 euros to broaden their academic and scientific experience in another Latin American country.

The call, which is open to the public and will remain open until April 10, is part of a broader Ibero-American mobility program which foresees a total of 200 scholarships in 2011 for professors and researchers from nine Ibero-American countries.

The program will bring different cultures closer together, and will add 200 new grants each year, with a total of 1,000 being awarded in 2015. At the end of the four editions, Banco Santander will have awarded a total of 3,000 scholarships.

training The beneficiaries, preferably under 35 years of age, will spend time at a Latin American university other than their own, which will enrich their scientific and technical knowledge and knowledge, and will encourage the learning of new techniques and methods (http://www.becas-santander.com).
