The students of the Master's Degree Executive in Fashion Business Management (MEDEM) of ISEM Fashion Business School made an academic stay at the business school SDA Bocconi in Milan. During their stay, they participated in the international program "Inside the Italian Fashion & Luxury System" and visited the headquarters of two companies: Moreschi and Guffanti Concept Showroom.
Francesca Rinaldi, professor at SDA Bocconi, was in charge of welcoming the participants upon their arrival at the school. During this first workshop, Erica Corbellini, director of the Master in Fashion, Experience & Design Management (MAFED) at SDA Bocconi, explained the fundamental concepts of Italian fashion in the session "Inside Italian Fashion System". Barbara Giannelli, strategic consultant, explained how licensing works in Italian fashion in the session "Licensing management in fashion: best practices".
In the following conference, the lessons continued with the interventions of Lucia Paladino, from SDA Bocconi, who gave the session "Merchandising in Fashion: some Italian best practices"; and Francesca Rinaldi, who explained to the students the best CSR practices in the Italian industry: "Managing Responsibility in Fashion: some Italian best practices".

During their stay, the students made several visits to companies in the sector.
As for the company visits, the students visited the Headquarters of Moreschi where they learned firsthand the various Departments of the business and the operation of the process of design and production of footwear. In the second visit, MEDEM students were able to visit Guffanti Concept Showroom.
This academic stay is part of the agreement of partnership that both business schools have been maintaining for years.
