The School of Law: spread around the world
The new year marks the end of the Christmas vacations, the arrival of students from exchange and the return of students on assignment.

The arrival of the new year also marks the beginning of the second half of the 2019-2020 academic year. In this first week of classes, the School of Law has welcomed the 37 students from exchange who will make Pamplona their home for the next six months.
The majority (12 students) come from Asia: nine are from South Korea, two from Hong Kong and one from Taiwan. The Europeans, a total of 11, come from Germany, Austria, Italy, Ireland, Czech Republic and Russia. Another 11 come from the Americas: Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and Peru. Rounding out the list are three students from Australia. They are joined by three students who are continuing their year-long exchange in Pamplona.
The profiles are varied. The students are studying Degrees in Law, International Office, programs of study , Economics, Finance, Political Science, Philosophy and Sociology. Between the 40, they total 21 universities in 16 countries.
Along with the new arrivals, we also welcomed back the 19 students from Degree from International Office who were at exchange during the first half of the academic year, distributed among 15 universities in a dozen countries.
Among them, Asia was the most popular continent. Five students chose South Korea as their destination, although only two were at the same university. Four chose Japan, two went to Taiwan and another pair to China. Three students went to the Americas from end to end, two to Canada and one to Uruguay. One student chose Australia. The last two stayed closer to home and studied semester in the United Kingdom.
Among all the welcomes we also had to say goodbye, at least for now, to two students from Degree who will be studying at the University College of Dublin in Ireland and the University of Eastern Finland in Finland.
