The School of Science at the University of Navarra held the 4th-year ESO Biology Olympiad on May 9, an initiative aimed at student body interested in biology. The test place in the Sciences Building and brought together 40 students from nine schools in Navarra.
First place went to Diego Tirado Ramos, a student at IES Sancho III el Mayor. Second place went to Laura Morató Rubio, from IES Basoko, while third place went to Matilde Ayabar Arellano, also a student at IES Sancho III el Mayor. Participants took an 80-question subject covering biology, Genetics, evolution, ecosystems, Anatomy , and biomolecules, among other topics from curriculum .
In addition, the organization has chosen to recognize Inés Escribano, Sara Segura Olóndriz, Aya Boufouss Boufouss, Cecilia Berasategui Herrera, Gabriela Vallès Prado, Rocío Aguinaga Latasa, and Yousra El Abdouni El Abdouni with a accredited specialization , as they ranked among the top ten in the competition thanks to their outstanding performance.
Students from nine schools participated in this edition: high school , high school Redín high school , Dominicas Pamplona, Escolapios Calasanz, IES Basoko, IES Ibaialde, IES Navarro Villoslada, IES place la Cruz, and IES Sancho III el Mayor. submission took place on June 8 at 5:00 p.m. in the auditorium Sciences Building the University of Navarra.
