José Ángel Medina, professor at School of Architecture of the University of Navarra, has published a book on the life of the architects Manuel Aizpurua and Joaquín Labayen, authors of the Real Club Náutico de San Sebastián, the Spanish work that was most widely published in European magazines in the 30s.
The Issue, edited in partnership by the high school of Architects and the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, is part of the collection dedicated to the architects of Gipuzkoa, and will be completed in February with a exhibition in the Koldo Mitxelena with their "unrealized projects".
The book is based on the doctoral thesis that José Ángel Medina defended in 2005 under the degree scroll "Crónicas de la vanguardia. 1927-1936. The architecture of Aizpúrua and Labayen". In it, Professor Medina approached the study of the architects' trajectory through chronicles of events that contextualize each of the most relevant parameters of project .
