Inmaculada Requena Agüero, María Vizcaíno Delgado, Elena Salinas Tumler, and Alejandra Pérez Díaz swapped their uniforms from high school San Ildefonso high school in Almería for those of employees business ZOI Agrícola for a day to participate in the University of Navarra’s Vidiomas contest.
In the thirteenth edition of competition, organized by the ISSA School of Applied Management, the theme was the hospitality industry, and the winning students chose to present a business on the primary sector—an industry typical of their home region, Almería.
About 100 students in their fourth year of secondary school and those pursuing high school diploma international schools participated in this year’s event, presenting business proposals related to the hospitality industry and based in the communities where their schools are located.
The goal the contest is for students to improve their English, French, or German language skills, practice their communication skills, and become familiar with digital tools and the business world.
María Mazuelos Gómez, Jorge Fernández Alcantara, Paula Jurado Navajas, and Paula Carrasco Holgado, students at high school in Córdoba, received second award their presentation the Guadamecí House Museum. Meanwhile, Axel Verdugo Navarro, Emiliano Castro Gastélum, and Eustaquio De Nicolás Machado, from the Chapultepec Sur High School in Culiacán, Mexico, took third place with a video about the Asian restaurant Zen by Zaashi.
