This year, the MFM has brought together a particularly large group of students, a reflection of the growing interest in this program. Among them are those from fashion design (increasingly present) along with others coming from the field of Business Administration and Management or Marketing, among others.
The welcome was position by María Ángeles Burguera -Academic Director of the program- and Carmen Azpurgua, deputy director of ISEM, who took the floor to officially inaugurate the course and convey the greetings of Marta Torregrosa, the new dean of ISEM.
His speech left a phrase engraved in the report the students: "I trust you very much". With it he wanted to underline the importance of this business school specialized in fashion, which has built a solid and prestigious community. In fact, he recalled that many of the students arrive recommended by former students, a sample of the trust and recognition that the program awakens.
After that first moment of meeting, the presentations began: with smiles, but also with the nerves of the first day, the students explained where they came from, what they had studied and what was their motivation to be there. Each one answered the question "Why ISEM?" and almost all of them agreed on the same desire: to understand how the fashion business really works and to learn how to manage it.
Azpurgua also recalled that the professional degree program of each person begins on that very day. Not only with what they learn in class, but also with the relationships they begin to build with their colleagues: "In the future, they will be the ones who will need you and you will need them". In closing, he praised the role of the faculty and the ISEM team.
With these words, and with an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and expectations, the third edition of the Master's Degree in Fashion Management (MFM) kicked off. A stage that is full of learning, international experiences and internships in companies of the sector, and that has already made clear its purpose: to train the new professionals that the fashion business is waiting for.
