exhibition Juan Cañada's photographic work in the Central Building
The University of Navarra inaugurates this Tuesday, at 7 p.m., the photographicexhibition "The dreams of Berenice and Duino", by Juan Cañada. The sample, organized by Cultural Activities Office, can be visited at entrance hall of Central Building until December 19.
"In the exhibition are represented the dreams of many people, mine too," says the artist. "Dreams of pilgrims who get sick before reaching Santiago de Compostela, dreams of people who are dragged by the carousel of life, dreams of children who dream of being grown-ups, and of grown-ups who dream of being children. Dreams that were made short, and dreams that come true after putting into action the effort, the desire to overcome, and above all Love," he explains.
Juan Cañada is a professor of Photojournalism at School of Communication at the University of Navarra and teaches Digital Photography Workshops at Cultural Activities Office. He has won several photographic awards and has participated in solo and group exhibitions. He has also been director of Contraluz magazine, between 2001 and 2011.
