Teaching Spanish in Japan
Alfredo López-Pasarin gives a talk organized by ILCE and presents his book "Teoría y internship del análisis de textos poéticos" (Theory and of the analysis of poetic texts).

Alfredo López-Pasarin, Full Professor of Spanish at Waseda University in Japan, visited the University of Navarra on September 15 to talk about the teaching of Spanish in Japan. visit López-Pasarin took advantage of his visit to Pamplona to present the book "Teoría y internship del análisis de textos poéticos" (Theory and of the analysis of poetic texts), in which a model of analysis based on the proposals of the German neo-rhetorician Heinrich Plett is exposed.
Invited by the high school of language and Spanish Culture (ILCE), in his visit, López-Pasarin emphasized the importance of Spanish in Japan and how the demand for Spanish courses has grown in recent years. At this moment, according to López-Pasarin himself, "there is a clear need to hire Spanish teachers".
As a result of this visit, the ILCE's director , Eduardo Negueruela, said that "we are going to study the possibilities of continued collaboration between Waseda and the ILCE of the University of Navarra".
