ILCE presents its 2016 activities report
There have been 289 students in semester courses and 158 in intensive and customized programs.

Last Friday, December 2, the Institute of Spanish language and Culture (ILCE) presented its activityreport for 2016. The figures, presented by its director, Eduardo Negueruela, show 289 students in semester courses and 158 in intensive and tailor-made programs. As for the faculty, this year there were 22 visiting professors and researchers from universities such as Princeton, Miami, Oxford and Columbia, among others. Of these 22 professors, 8 have come to teaching and the rest to give lectures.
In addition, workshop presented some of the innovation projects that have been launched throughout this year, such as Radio ILCE or Compañeros de conversación, the International Café, the Spanish Club, or thesubjects Transformative Experience, in which Professor Manuel Pulido explained how through activities of volunteer activities, "we seek learning with a vocation for service" or Digital Storytelling. In the case of the latter subject, attendees at the presentation of the report had the opportunity to see some of the work that had been done, as well as vote for the winner of the contest that had been generated around it. Iku Komiya, a student of the Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, was the winner with her work "Surprises".
