Alejandro Galván, Isabel Domínguez and Paola Díaz: students with medals in the Navarre Biology Olympiad

The test was held at the School of Sciences of the University of Navarra with the participation of 84 students from 21 schools.

Alejandro Galván -from IES Basoko of Pamplona-, Isabel Domínguez -from high school Sancho III El Mayor of Tafalla- and Paola Díaz -from Liceo Monjardín of Pamplona- have obtained first, second and third place, respectively, in the regional phase of the Biology Olympiad, held at the School of Sciences of the University of Navarra.

The 2nd grade students high school diploma students competed in the test against 81 other students from 21 schools.

The three finalist students will participate, from April 12 to 15, in the XII national phase of this test, which will take place in Badajoz. Likewise, those who obtain the three best results in this phase will go on to the international competition . This year the world quotation will be held in Tehran (Iran), from June 15 to 22, 2018.

In turn, students who finish between 5th and 8th place in the Extremadura national phase will be able to compete in the Ibero-American Biology Olympiad, to be held this year in Loja (Ecuador), from September 9 to 15, 2018.
