The master's degree program at School of Sciences starts with 42 students

The XII edition of Master's Degree in research Biomedical will start with 31 students and the I edition of Master's Degree in Computational Methods in Science has 11 students.

Last Tuesday, September 15, the opening ceremony of the XII edition of the UniversityMaster's Degree in research Biomedicine was held at the auditorium of the Cima University of Navarra. The presentation was presented by Inmaculada Pascual, Vice-Dean of postgraduate program of the School, and Guillermo Zalba, director of the program.

The new edition of Master's Degree begins with 31 students enrolled, mostly from Spain (25 students from Navarra, Madrid, Bizkaia, Barcelona, Tenerife, Alicante, Baleares, Burgos, Gipuzkoa, Jaén, La Rioja, Murcia and Valencia) while 6 are international students (Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Germany, Costa Rica and Dominican Republic). Of the students enrolled, eleven are studying the specialization program in Cancer, ten are studying Regenerative Medicine and Advanced Therapies, four are studying Neuroscience and Cognition, and six are studying research Translational.

Closing of the Master's Degree in research Biomedica

The closing ceremony of the XI edition was also held on September 15. The event, which took place at the classroom Magna of Central Building, was presided over by Luis Montuenga, Dean of the School de Ciencias, and Professor Guillermo Zalba. Antonio Martínez, President of Grifols, gave a session on "research in the biomedical business ".

On the other hand, on Monday, September 14, at 12:00 noon, the opening ceremony of the first edition of Master's Degree in Computational Methods in Science was held. The event took place at auditorium of Sciences Building and was attended by Luis Montuenga, Dean of School, and Ángel Garcimartin, director of Master's Degree and professor at School. In this first edition 11 students participated, 9 from Spain (3 from Gipuzkoa and 6 from Navarra) and 2 from abroad (Italy and China).
