Four photographs of Norman Parkinson at ISEM Fashion Business School
The famous photographer's work will decorate the facilities of the new ISEM headquarters.

ISEM Fashion Business School has acquired the rights to 4 photographs belonging to the work of the famous fashion photographer, Norman Parkinson, which will decorate the new headquarters of the school. The photographs have been installed as large panels in the Fashion Library Services and in the management offices of ISEM, all located on the main floor of the building.
Among the selected photographs, "Take off to Paris" (1960) sample features American model Nena von Schlebrügge posing for the August issue of The Queen magazine. Lisa Fonssagrives, model and Swedish dancer, stars in "The American Collections" image for Vogue America's September 1949 issue .
The other two photographs feature Wenda Parkinson, the photographer's wife, and were published in different editions of Vogue magazine. The first image sample of Wenda photographed in New York in 1949. This photo was featured on the cover of the October issue of Vogue America and in the November issue of the British edition of the same magazine. The second photograph of Wenda Parkinson was also published in the British edition of Vogue in March of that year.
Norman Parkinson (1913-1990) is one of the most renowned fashion photographers of the 20th century. A pioneer in the use of storytelling in his images, he was able to introduce a subtle and casual elegance in the art of photography with great skill . In addition to supermodels, his work includes images of celebrities and artists, such as Audrey Hepburn, David Bowie or The Beatles, as well as presidents and prime ministers of his time. For more than seven decades, his work appeared in publications such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar or Town & Country, where he even starred on several covers.
