The Master's Degree Christianity and Contemporary Culture at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Navarra has renewed the membership of its committee advisor. This advisory body brings together professionals and scholars from a wide range of fields—including philosophy, Education, business, culture, communication, the arts, history, and management with the goal enriching reflection on the program’s content and challenges, as well as fostering a close connection between the proposal and the issues currently at the discussion , social, and cultural discussion .
On June 17, coinciding with the first “Christianity and Contemporary Culture” Summer Course held at the campus Madrid campus , the team members held a meeting discuss ways to continue strengthening this project .
The committee advisor chaired by Juan Arana, Full Professor Philosophy and a member of the Royal Academy of Moral and Political Sciences. Its members include Alfonso Aguiló, president of CECE and of network Arenales network ; Rosalía Baena, professor of Philology and Vice President Student Affairs and International Relations at the University of Navarra; Ricardo Calleja, Ph.D. in Philosophy of Law, Morality, and Politics and lecturer in Business Ethics at IESE Business School; Gregorio Luri, philosopher, educator, and writer; Manuel Oriol, director Ediciones meeting; Julia Pavón, professor of Medieval History and dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences the University of Navarra; Juan Carlos Ramos, director of the COPE Foundation; Teresa Sádaba, director of Institutional Relations at the University of Navarra; Jesús Sáinz, Vice President of Puy de Fou España; José Francisco Serrano, writer and journalist; José María Torralba, Full Professor Moral and Political Philosophy at the University of Navarra; Javier Viver, sculptor and photographer; and Mariano Crespo, Full Professor Philosophy and director of Master's Degree, who serves as Secretary.
Organized by the School of Humanities and Social Sciences with the academic support of the School of Theology, the Core Curriculum Institute, and the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS), and the group , Reason, and Faith (CRYF) group , the Master's Degree Christianity and Contemporary Culture offers a training that enables students to understand the challenges of today’s world through an integrative lens grounded in Christian humanism. Its modular, blended learning format also blended learning the participation of professionals from various fields interested in delving deeper into the roots of contemporary society.
