The University of Navarra has inaugurated"A doble página", a sample that gives an overview of the illustration of Navarrese authorship or made in the region. The exhibition, which can be visited at the University's Central Library Services until next November, gathers the work of about twenty illustrators from Navarre who work in the field publishing house and offers a tour of different genres aimed at different audiences: comics, conceptual illustration for the press, lyrical, narrative or expository texts. It reflects a variety of styles and techniques shown in different media such as books, press and fanzines.

In addition to being able to enjoy the works of the participating authors and some works loaned for the occasion, visitors will be able to approach the creative process behind each piece, through notes, sketches or plates prior to the final work . In this sense, as explained by Concha Martínez Pasama r, prof essor at the School of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Navarra, professional illustrator and curator of the exhibition, "the strong point of this is that it will be a great opportunity to see the works of art.
exhibitionThe strong point of this sample is the attention paid to the processes, since, together with the results already printed in the book or newspaper, sample shows the variety and complexity of the phases that precede the final illustration".
