Secundino Fernández

Secundino Fernández González (Astorga, León) is Senior Associate Professor and consultant doctor of Otorhinolaryngology of the Clinic.

graduate and PhD in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Navarra and PADE from IESE. He has done research, among other centres, at Oxford University and the Harvard Macy Institute. Associate Dean of Alumni and Academic Organisation of the School of Medicine (2006-14), he has been its Dean since 2014. He directs the laboratory of Medical Engineering of the School.

His lines of research focus on laryngeal diseases, voice disorders and the design of equipment for the diagnosis of these pathologies. He is a member of the Royal National Academy of Medicine. He is married and father of 4 children.
