51 students start their programs of study of Master's Degree in the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition.
The second promotion of Master's Degree University in management of Pharma-Biotech Companies will start at Campus in Madrid on September 28th.

The School of Pharmacy and Nutrition has welcomed the 51 students who are starting this year some of the programs of postgraduate program that are developed in the Campus of Pamplona: the Master's Degree European in Food, Nutrition and Metabolism (E-MENU), the Master's Degree in research, development and Drug Innovation (MIDI) and the Master's Degree in design Galenic and Manufacturing in the Pharmaceutical Industry (MDGFI). In the case of the second graduating class of Master's Degree University in management of Pharma-Biotech Companies, the welcome ceremony will take place at Campus in Madrid on September 28.
This graduating class will be very heterogeneous and international with students from 23 universities in 8 different countries. Specifically, the 18 new students starting this year at Master's Degree E-MENU come from Spain, the United States, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Ecuador and Puerto Rico. The 24 new MIDI students are graduates in Pharmacy, Biochemistry , Biotechnology, Biology and Molecular Biology from 10 different universities.
In addition, the MDGFI will have 9 new students who have completed their programs of study of Degree in Pharmacy in 7 Spanish and Italian universities. This program is characterized by a very relevant part internship that is carried out in the pilot plant for the manufacture of drugs at department Technology and Chemistry Pharmaceuticals. For this reason a reduced group of students is necessary for its correct development.
The second graduating class of Master's Degree University in management of Pharma-Biotech Companies in Madrid will have 29 students.
During the welcoming ceremony, Adela López de Cerain, dean of School, invited the students to make the most of the opportunities offered by the different programs: "The geographical variety, both national and international, is a characteristic of this University, which will enrich you professionally and, without a doubt, personally. In addition, the teaching of Master's Degree is given in small groups and is very internship and participative, which allows you to get to know each other very well and in a quasi-professional way".
For his part, Alfonso Vericat, director of development of the School, reminded them that the good positions of the Master's Degree Programs of the School in the rankings are due to factors such as experience or the academic staff, but also to the commitment that each year the students put in, with their work and dedication, and that they then show in the professional internship .
