Javier Andrés, representative of School of Science: "I am proud and honored to represent my peers and put my skills to work for them."

The School of Science has new student representatives. Javier Andrés is from Seville, is 21 years old, and studies Biochemistry . Iria Rodríguez, meanwhile, is from Olloqui (Navarra), is 21 years old, and is studying Biochemistry the Science and Business Program.

The main commitment of our delegates is to be at the service of their peers and to convey any concerns they may have that are relevant. For Javier, being a delegate is a responsibility that he assumes with pride and an opportunity to put himself at the service of his classmates: "to put the capabilities of each one at the service of others, so that our student experience is as full as possible". Along the same lines, Iria adds that they are committed to passing on the suggestions of the Science students wherever appropriate.

Both agree on the importance of the social aspect in addition to academics. "I would like to be a point of union between the different careers and encourage a close environment that promotes good coexistence among all the students of the School," says Javier. Iria adds: "Without the social area , there is little academic performance. I want to focus my contribution in this area, trying to organize activities that can unite the courses and careers".  

The delegates see one of their main tasks as ensuring that the School of Science a greater presence across campus and that science students can also participate in activities organized by the area . In addition, they emphasize the importance of being proactive classboth inside and outside the classwhen it comes to management such as the patron saint management patron saint other humanities-related management .
