The video 'Flamenco the soul of Córdoba', made by Irene Aparicio Soriano, Paula Morales Torres and Blanca Salinas Castro, students of 4th ESO of high school Almedina de Córdoba, has been the winner of the fifth edition of the VIDIOMAS contest of the University of Navarra. The competition, organized by ISSA - School of Management Assistants, has had the participation of 337 students of 4th ESO and high school diploma, from 16 Spanish provinces.
The winning video, coordinated by Professor Manuel Altamirano, competed with 129 other entries submitted to the contest, whose theme was "Music in your city". The goal of competition is to promote the use of English, French and German, communication skills, work in teams and employment of new technologies.
The jury was composed of professors of the Degree in Management attendance - Management Assistant of the University of Navarra. About the winning video, Ana Belén Martínez, professor of Business Communication at ISSA - School of Management Assistants highlighted "the passion with which the students transmit their topic and the originality of the format, with one of the girls as the protagonist of the dance they are talking about. In addition, their use of English is good, connecting ideas in a coherent and organized way". With 1000 likes, the winning video was the most voted proposal on Youtube until the closing of participation, which represented 50% of the grade.
The three members of the team, as well as the tutor who has coordinated them, have been awarded with an Amazon card valued at 100 euros. In addition, the students Esther Gasent, Cristina Royo and Gemma Rubert, from high school Vilavella, have result winners of the draw organized among the participating works, for attend to the summer course in English "The World of Business", which will take place from 27 to 29 June at campus of Pamplona of the University of Navarra.
