One of the pillars on which the new headquarters of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra in Madrid is based is a highly qualified and versatile nursing staff to ensure excellence in patient care. Thus, the Madrid center will have all the experience accumulated by the Navarre institution in the service of patients in its 55 years of history, while contributing to the training and specialization of professionals in innovative nursing.

The university identity of the Clinic will also be reflected in the nursing staff of the Madrid headquarters, which will offer each patient the best human and scientific attention in a personalized way. In this way, the search for excellence in patient care will be based on the specialization of the professionals and on a praxis that applies knowledge through evidence in each clinical case.

multiple specialization for multidisciplinary care

"The healthcare model of the Clinic's new headquarters, with the same specialties as the Pamplona site and with a special focus on some services, has influenced the selection and planning of the area," says Carmen Rumeu, Director of Nursing. For this reason, and in order to maintain the high quality of care, the Clinic is the only Spanish center with all its specialized nursing staff at its two sites. In fact, some of the professionals in this area will have a double specialization, so that the high qualification will enhance the Clinic's own interdisciplinary model , which places the patient at the center of all care, research and teaching activities.

The Clinic's Nursing Department reflects the hospital's university identity: to offer each patient the best human and scientific attention .

It is expected that the Nursing area of the new headquarters of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra in Madrid will be staffed by around 120 people. Some of the new professionals are alumni of the School of Nursing at the University of Navarra or have completed a specialization program at the Clinic. Professionals with extensive experience in nursing management from other prestigious centers will also join the team.
