The School of Canon Law of the University of Navarra has launched the second edition of the MOOC "How does the Church manage its assets? Questions of Canon Law and relatedmatters". The course, which has 390 participants, is free of charge and is taught by Professor Diego Zalbidea.
Organized around six units, it offers a global and comprehensive approach to the main issues concerning the use and management of temporal goods by the Catholic Church.
According to Professor Zalbidea, this course aims to bring students closer to the material reality of the Church from an interdisciplinary point of view: "We are aware of the great complexity of subject and the difficulty of studying it. These are not merely technical questions, but a reflection of the very nature of the institution and, therefore, a place where the Church plays an important part of its credibility".
