The University of Navarra has organized four sessions in Vitoria and Pamplona as part of the Professional Initiation Visits Program.

The School of Architecture of the University of Navarra has launched the Professional Initiation Visits Program. Aimed at engineering students of Building of the University of Navarra, students analyze 'in situ' the processes of manufacturing, assembly and construction of buildings.

The initiative aims to complement the theoretical training of Degree with internship, through supervised visits to buildings that are in the process of execution or factories, workshops and laboratories where work related to building construction is carried out.

Ancient and modern construction systems
The first session took place in Vitoria, where the future engineers of Building learned about the works that are being executed to complete the first phase of the Fernando Buesa Arena Pavilion. There they studied modern construction systems, among which the roof structure stands out. visit Afterwards, they made a guided visit to the cathedral of Vitoria, where they examined the traditional construction systems and the most modern repair and restoration procedures.

In the second and third sessions of the program, the students toured the construction site of the new Economics and Masters building at the University of Navarra. Finally, they saw the execution of two works carried out by Construcciones Ecay: the Medical Experimentation Center at campus in Pamplona, designed by architect Miguel Oliver, and the sports center of the high school Santa Luisa de Marillac, designed by Rafael Arrizabalaga.
