Teresa Escriche, alumni of the School of Nursing of the University, obtains the issue place in the EIR
Among more than 10,000 applicants for the Nurse Intern Resident Examination (EIR), Teresa ranks among the top and highlights the importance of effort and support from others during the years of study.

Teresa graduated last year from the School of Nursing and was awarded the Extraordinary End of Degree award for the academic year 2023-24.
During her four years at the University of Navarra, she completed the Degree in Nursing with a Diploma in Psychology of Care. In addition, she participated in the Sigma Society, in the PRE(AD)DICTION project and in the research "Improving person-centered care. training nursing students to manage pressure injuries through the use of reality".
research has always been part of her interests and she highlights how "School, they have always conveyed to us the importance of excellence in nursing and of doing an internship based on scientific evidence."
In addition, beyond the classroom, she was part of the FORUN congress of the University of Navarra and during COVID-19 she was a volunteer with ONG Salvamento, financial aid and Rescate Navarra and the Municipal Police of Pamplona. She combined all this with sports, being a Sports Talent of the University of Navarra in the Navarra Swimming Federation.
Undoubtedly Teresa's degree program at the University has been of benefit, and in her words that is what has made her know the breadth of Nursing and the complexity of covering all the competencies of the profession: "for this reason, I knew I wanted to specialize, in order to broaden my knowledge and consolidate what I learned during the Degree before starting to work.
Finally, Teresa is grateful for all the support she has had during these years of study and recognizes the effort behind it: "although the decision was not easy and involved many months of effort and sacrifice, the study has result and I will be able to achieve what was my initial goal , to be able to access a specialist position. Once again, I would like to thank the University for these years of training and the professors for their support. Also to my family and friends for being a fundamental support in this path towards the EIR".
