The committee of experts of the University's Labor Relations Observatory is formed

The University's campus in Madrid hosted on May 26th the constitution of the Expert committee of the Labor Relations Observatory promoted by the University of Navarra and Labormatters. The session was led by the steering committee of the Observatory composed of Professor and Full Professor of Philosophy of Law, Juan Cianciardo, the director of Labormatters, Alfredo Aspra and Labormatters partner, Puy Abril. Guillermo Barrios, Full Professor of Labor Law (Universidad Rey Juan Carlos) excused his presence for personal reasons.

Established in February, the Observatory aims to be a center of reference letter in the knowledge dissemination of programs of study, reflections and scientific production on the main current issues in the field of Labor Law and Social Security. 

In coordination with the management committee of the Observatory, the committee of experts will participate in work sessions and discussion forums to address different issues such as absenteeism, work time, equality and non-discrimination policies in labor relations, the right to data protection in labor relations or psychosocial risks and their prevention. 

The group of experts will thus address the main objectives of the Observatory, such as research and the generation of publications, articles and scientific material that analyze and anticipate, whenever possible, the main regulatory and jurisprudential changes and trends in the sector, as well as the impact of all this on the field of Labor Law and Social Security.

In addition, among other activities, knowledge dissemination and training conference will also be organized for both professionals and law students.
