The Centro de programs of study de la Literatura española de Entre Siglos -XVII-XVIII- (CELES XVII-XVII) has experts from the University of Poitiers and El high school de México.

The team Formes et Représentations en Littérature et Linguistique (FoReLL) of the University of Poitiers, the Centro de programs of study Lingüísticos y Literarios (CELL) of El high school de México and the group de research Siglo de Oro (GRISO) of the University of Navarra have constituted the Centro de programs of study de la Literatura española de Entre Siglos (siglos XVII-XVIII), abbreviated CELES XVII-XVIII. It is constituted as an international research group dedicated to literary production in its various aspects (poetry, prose and theater) and theoretical thought of Spanish literature in the transition between the two major movements that are the Baroque and Neoclassicism. Its objectives are the publication of catalogs and bibliographic repertoires, literary and/or theoretical texts, the development of programs of study and the promotion of meetings and scientific activities, as well as the partnership among specialists on this period from all over the world. At present, the members of CELES XVII-XVIII are GRISO researchers Ignacio Arellano, J. Enrique Duarte, Juan Manuel Escudero, Carlos Mata Induráin and Blanca Oteiza.

CELES XVII-XVIII has a website where you can find news, texts and various publications, such as the general primarybibliography of the theater of Francisco Antonio de Bances Candamo (1662-1704), compiled by GRISO researchers J. Enrique Duarte, Blanca Oteiza, Juan Manuel Escudero and Álvaro Baráibar.

Professor Alain Bègue (FoReLLL, University of Poitiers), promoter of the group of research international CELES XVII-XVIII, has just given a lecture at the University of Navarra entitled "Literary academies and poetry in the second half of the seventeenth century", in the framework of the "Golden Seminars of the GRISO". In addition, his visit has served as meeting of work for the preparations of an upcoming activity of CELES XVII-XVIII: the congress International "Cultures and writings between centuries (from the XVI to the XXI): Epochs of transition", to be held on September 22-23, 2011 in Saint-Denis (Ile de la Réunion, France), co-organized by the University of La Réunion, FoReLL-Université de Poitiers, GRISO-University of Navarra and PROTEO-University of Burgos.
