59 students from 15 schools in Navarre participate in the IV History Olympiad

A total of 59 students from 4th of ESO, 1st and 2nd of high school diploma, from 15 schools in Navarra, participated in the IV Olympiad of History. IV History Olympiad organized by the School of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Navarra. The final test will take place in April, and the awards submission on Friday, May 5 at the University of Navarra.

This year, the proposed topic was 'The Russian Revolution, 1917', and the students had to answer -either in Spanish, Basque or English- the question "The Russian Revolution: from the thesis of April to the Peace of Brest-Litovsk". They had two hours to develop it and to elaborate, in addition, a text commentary.

The students belong to different schools and institutes of Navarra: high school San Cernin, Calasanz-Escolapios, Miravalles-El Redín, Irabia-Izaga, IES Julio Caro Baroja, IES place de la Cruz, Liceo Monjardín, Nuestra Señora del Huerto, Santo Tomás (Dominicas) and Claret Larraona. Also present were high school Luis Amigó from Mutilva, Santa María la Real (Maristas) from Sarriguren, IES Marqués de Villena from Marcilla, IES Pablo Sarasate from Lodosa and IESO Mendaur DBHI from Santesteban.
