The School of Pharmacy and Nutrition welcomes the 51 students who will take one of the three master's degrees offered in Pamplona.

The third graduating class of Master's Degree University in management of Pharma-Biotech Companies will start at Campus in Madrid on September 6.

The School of Pharmacy and Nutrition has welcomed the 51 students who start this year one of the three programs of postgraduate program that are developed in the Campus of Pamplona: the Master's Degree European in Food, Nutrition and Metabolism (E-MENU), the Master's Degree in research, development and Drug Innovation (MIDI) and the Master's Degree in design Galenic and Manufacturing in the Pharmaceutical Industry (MDGFI). In the case of the third graduating class of Master's Degree University in management of Pharma-Biotech Companies, the welcoming ceremony will take place at Campus in Madrid on September 6.

The new students come from Spain, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Ecuador and El Salvador, and have completed their programs of study from Degree at 24 different universities. They are graduates in Pharmacy, Nutrition, Biochemistry , Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences, Biomedicine, Nursing, Food Industry Engineering and Medicine.

Of these, 14 will start this course at Master's Degree E-MENU, while 28 will take the MIDI course. In addition, the MDGFI will have 9 new students. This program is characterized by a very relevant part internship that takes place in the pilot drug manufacturing plant of department Technology and Chemistry Pharmaceuticals, so a reduced number of students is necessary group for its correct development.

The third graduating class of Master's Degree University in management of Pharma-Biotech Companies in Madrid will have 36 students.

During the welcoming ceremony, Mª Javier Ramírez, dean of the School, invited the students to make the most of the opportunities offered by the different programs: "I don't know why you have chosen to study a Master's Degree during the next academic year, but I am convinced that you have made an excellent choice. Here you are going to reach a higher level in your training, beyond the execution of technical qualities, however cutting-edge they may be. Today you begin a very intense period of professional and academic growth, but also staff. So make the most of all the opportunities that the University offers you and that will undoubtedly serve you wherever you go". 

Alfonso Vericat, director of development of the School, reminded them that the good positions of the Master's Degree programs of the School in the rankings are due to factors such as experience or the academic staffbut also to the effort that students put in every year, with their work and dedication, which they then show in their professional internship . "Take advantage of the teachers at 200%, who are still at your disposal to squeeze them out of class. Also benefit from the experience of School in terms of internships, employment, entrepreneurship... Without forgetting what your colleagues will bring to you. Some say that in a master's program, 40% of your learning comes from your professors, while the remaining 60% comes from your colleagues".
