In addition, Sciences was the School of the University of Navarra with the highest issue of thesis doctoral works in the academic year 2010-2011, with a total of 51 works.
Three official programs of doctorate of the School of Sciences of the University of Navarra have obtained one of the mentions towards excellence with which the Ministry of Education recognizes the scientific-technical and formative solvency of these programs of study postgraduate programs.
These are the doctorate programs at Cell and Molecular Biology, at Chemistry and in Complex Systems. These doctorate programs will be integrated into a public list of programs, which constitutes an international benchmark for their performance and results.
The programs submitted have been evaluated in competitive concurrence for each branch of knowledge, based on the track record researcher of its academic staff, the issue of thesis doctoral defended, the scientific contributions made, the participation in mobility programs, as well as the relationships and alliances with other institutions. The accredited specialization is awarded for the 2011-2012, 2012-2013, and 2013-2014 academic years.
