Three programs of doctorate of the School of Sciences obtain the accredited specialization of excellence.
In addition, Sciences was the School of the University of Navarra with the highest issue of thesis doctoral works in the academic year 2010-2011, with a total of 51 works.
Three official programs of doctorate of the School of Sciences of the University of Navarra have obtained one of the mentions towards excellence with which the Ministry of Education recognizes the scientific-technical and formative solvency of these programs of study postgraduate programs.
These are the doctorate programs at Cell and Molecular Biology, at Chemistry and in Complex Systems. These doctorate programs will be integrated into a public list of programs, which constitutes an international benchmark for their performance and results.
The programs submitted have been evaluated on a competitive basis for each branch of knowledge, based on the researcher record of its faculty, the issue of doctoral thesis defended, scientific contributions made, participation in mobility programs, as well as relationships and alliances with other institutions. The accredited specialization is awarded for the academic years 2011-2012, 2012-2013, and 2013-2014.
Likewise, during the 2010/11 academic year, the graduates of the School of Sciences defended a total of 51 doctoral thesis , being the School of the University of Navarra with the highest issue of doctoral thesis .
