The Science Career Week of the University of Navarra will connect more than 300 students with 14 companies in the biosanitary sector.
The Schools of Science, Pharmacy and Nutrition organize this week oriented to the training, networking and the search for employment of students and alumni
The Schools of Science, Pharmacy and Nutrition of the University of Navarra are organizing from November 5 to 7 the Science Career Week, some conference oriented to training, the search for internships and the first employment."We want the students of Degree and Master's Degree, as well as the alumni of these Schools to know the tools and techniques to enhance their professional development ", says Cristina Martínez Cabañas, Career Manager of the School of Sciences.
For three days Science Career Week, which will be held in the facilities of the University of Navarra's Science area , will connect more than 300 students and alumni with 14 companies in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, environmental and food sectors from Navarra, the Basque Country, Aragon and Madrid. "We intend that the companies can publicize their recruitment programs and the student know firsthand these entities in order to perform internships or seek their first employment", adds Martínez Cabañas.
Tuesday 5 is the opening of Career Week with a session on "New career opportunities at Symplicity, beWanted and Jobteaser"; experience on how to take the Resident Pharmacist Intern exam (spanish pharmacy residency program ); and a session on how to write a resume and how to interview for work.
The second workshop will begin with different professional experiences that the alumni will share with the attendees; a lecture on the pharmaceutical industry and a session on bioentrepreneurship organized by the Biotechnology Club and business of the University of Navarra.
On Thursday, November 7, employment-sponsored by 3P Biopharmaceuticals, Idifarma and Cichorium S.L. - will be held. It will start with a session on how to take the Internal Resident Biologist exam (biochemistry residency program), company recruitment programs and information on postgraduate programs at area biosanitary. In addition, during this day, attendees will be able to enter contact with the human resources managers of the organizations present.
The following organizations are participating in this second edition of Science Career Week: Viscofan, 3P Biopharmaceuticals, Laboratorios Cinfa, Idifarma, Astrazeneca, Azti Tecnalia, CEIN, Cichorium S.L, Congelados de Navarra, Factor CO2, OC Vigilance and the official associations of biologists, pharmacists and nutritionists of Navarra.
