Almudena Uclés and Teresa Álvarez, new University delegates

Almudena Uclés Landín and Teresa Álvarez Spanish have been elected, respectively, delegate and subdelegate of the University of Navarra for the 2025/26 academic year. Representatives of the 15 Schools and schools of the academic center participated in the vote.

Born in Madrid, Almudena Uclés is studying 5th year of a double Degree in Philosophy and Law. A fan of cooking and reading, Almudena was already the University's delegate last year. "I think I'm still useful and I think continuity is good," she explains. Among her main objectives for this academic year is to promote the integration of all students, and the welcoming of first-year and international students: "I want there to be a real sense of University; that we leave here not only with the experience of a School, but of the whole institution. I have the feeling that we are not aware of all the opportunities that the University offers us".

For her part, Teresa Álvarez, a native of Pamplona, a 5th year student of the double Degree in Law and Economics, is looking forward to her work as subdelegate. "I believe that students are an essential part of the University and we must have representation so that we are heard. We need more unity among the Schools," she says. Teresa enjoys reading and spending time with her friends and family. She is also a basketball fan, playing and coaching young children. Like Almudena, she considers it important for students to know about the activities offered by the University, beyond academics. "I would like to encourage student participation in university life and ensure that our voices are heard," she concludes.
